i was quite disappointed with how the second season ended. i think it is unfair for sebastian that he did not get to have and devour ciel's soul. after all, he did his end of the bargain. thus, he deserves to receive what he so much wanted, craved and worked diligently for.
it's not that i have anything against ciel. i absolutely love his character. but he had achieved his goal through sebastian's help. so, isn't it natural for sebastian to earn his reward? besides, ciel himself agrees with sebastian taking his soul.
and what's up with claude and
alois? why did claude have to put the blame of alois'(jim's) younger
brother's death to sebastian? i don't think that was really explained. what's
more, how can alois be so selfish as to wish for no one to get ciel's
soul--for him (ciel) to become a demon? i understand that he's envious
and jealous of how desirable ciel's soul is. but since alois got the
love he craved in the end PLUS the reunion w/ his precious younger
brother, can't he just let sebastian and ciel be in the end?! he
could've just wished for claude to never get ciel's soul--which is rightfully sebastian's in the first place.
it is so not a happy ending for
everyone.
sigh
oh well... i'd just imagine that sebastian would get over it and even enjoy having to spend an amusing eternity with his dear master, ciel.
one hell of a butler serving one hell of a master... until the end of time.
'one hell of a butler serving one hell of a master... until the end of time.' - nice ending.
ReplyDeleteyup, i also think that it is unfair for sebastian. :(
