LILAC FOODTRIP II: Casa Feliz and Spartea

As promised, we returned to Lilac, a street filled with restaurants we just have to try. Though, we did not went eating at other restaurants. We instead came back to Casa Feliz--to sample their pastas--and Spartea--to sample the hotdogs.

First off is the lunch at Casa Feliz. The ambiance is homey and we so enjoy it. Our stay there had been quite relaxing and the place being well-ventilated is also such a plus factor.

 Our orders:

iced mocha for Angge

luscious strawberry milkshake for me~

Angge's lasagna with eggplant
I had tried Angge's lasagna three times. The first try burned my tongue a bit--its inside is very hot despite all the blowing I did. The second try, I dunno why but it tasted like spaghetti to me; though I guess it's okay since it having red sauce makes it quite similar to spaghetti. The third try, it tasted like pizza to me. LOL. Any, bottomline is it tasted good. The eggplant is yummy.

my pesto with salmon

I am not such a fan of linguine pasta, but this one is really good and since it's not so big and flat and is also cooked just how I like my noodles [not too soft/soggy and/or close to being over-cooked], I found it to be very delicious and satisfying. Not to mention, quite a heavy meal. The salmon servings are huge. XD and the buttery garlic breads are tasty as well. What's more, they may look a little burnt, but once you take a bite, you'll be surprised at how soft and yummy they are.

Our stomachs got so full that we had to walk and walk first before going to Spartea.

What we had at Spartea:

Strawberry Milktea, White Wintermelon Tea and Teriyaki-dog

The flakes on top of the Teriyaki hotdog were moving. Quite amusing as it seems like they are swaying and dancing. :D
